Dr Mark Rassie joined Imaging Associates in 2020. He is a accomplished clinician who specialises in caring for patients with musculoskeletal problems.

Mark obtained his Medical Degree (MBChB) in Auckland, New Zealand in 2011. He completed a Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists in 2019 and then went on to complete an MRI Fellowship at North Shore Hospital in Auckland, also in 2019. In 2020, Mark completed an MSK Fellowship with Imaging Associates.

Mark is highly skilled and brings great energy to his work. He is committed to maintaining the very highest standards in image and reporting quality and being open and approachable, he relates easily and naturally with patients, colleagues and referring practitioners alike. He is always a very calm and reassuring presence and influence for his team and his patients. In his role as Clinical Director, Mark is active in getting to know local doctors and promoting the services offered by Imaging Associates. He is the key point of contact for clinical questions or issues, and he has overall responsibility for supporting the Carlton and Rowville clinic team.

Mark is an active member of RANZCR and the Australasian Musculoskeletal Imaging Group (AMSIG). He has participated in RANZCR Educational sessions and has made several AMSIG presentations. In 2023, he presented on Pectoralis Major Injuries at AMSIG’s Scientific Meeting in Perth, and he co-convened and presented at AMSIG’s meeting in Noosa in 2024.

In addition to his work with Imaging Associates, Mark also works as Head of Game Day Radiology for the Carlton Football Club leading a radiology team to diagnose and manage player injuries on game day and in post-game day settings.
