Dr Andrew Long’s passion for radiology stems from his love of anatomy and the opportunity to perform precise, image-guided procedures with a high degree of accuracy and finesse. Radiology also allows him to apply his problem-solving skills while staying engaged across all fields of medicine.
Known for his approachable and engaging nature, Andrew values his role in the diagnostic process and takes great satisfaction in seeing improvements in his patients’ health following intervention and treatment.
At our Narre Warren clinic, Andrew offers a comprehensive range of general radiology services, with particular expertise in musculoskeletal and spine imaging and interventions. He also provides after-hours telereporting for Imaging Associates Global and Peninsula Health.
Andrew attended Monash University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Medical Science (Hons) in 2014 and a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (Hons) in 2015. He then completed a Graduate Diploma of Surgical Anatomy in 2017, and a Master of Medicine (Radiology) in 2022, both at The University of Melbourne. In 2023, Andrew attained a Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiology.
Andrew trained as a Registrar at St Vincent’s Hospital from 2019-2024, becoming Senior Registrar in 2023. He joined Imaging Associates in 2024 as a Musculoskeletal Fellow.
Committed to ongoing education and research, Andrew has contributed to numerous research projects and presented at a variety of medical conferences and meetings over the past decade. He provides radiology services to amateur athletes and professional sporting associations alike, with a focus on high-level, cutting edge imaging and diagnostic accuracy.
