Imaging Associates Wagga Wagga is excited to announce the arrival of our new state of the art Philips Ingenia Elition 3.0T MRI Machine. This is the fourth MRI for the city of Wagga Wagga and the second at Imaging Associates Wagga Wagga.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a non-invasive medical test used to diagnose and treat certain conditions. MRI uses no ionising radiation (x-rays) and as such is safe for all ages. Our new Philips Ingenia Elition 3.0T MRI Machine produces high resolution images, allowing for exquisite detail and detailed visualisation of structures within the body. This enables clinicians to detect abnormalities that may not be easily visible with other imaging modalities, such as x-ray, ultrasound, or CT. This level of precision assists in formulating accurate diagnoses and developing personalised treatment plans for patients in the Wagga Wagga community.

Enhanced MRI Capacity and Reduced Waiting Times
The increased capacity supplied by our additional MRI will see waiting periods reduced, providing the community of Wagga Wagga with faster access to our high quality services, enabling timely diagnosis and treatment pathways to be formulated.
Currently, we are able to offer same day/next day MRI appointments to our local referring practitioners and their patients.
Increased Accessibility to MRI
Imaging Associates endeavours to continually increase accessibility to our high quality imaging services and procedures for patients.
Our new MRI machine is fully accredited with a Medicare license, enabling Medicare rebates on all eligible scans. All non Medicare eligible examinations will continue to incur an out-of-pocket expense.
MRI appointments require a referral from a medical practitioner.
Imaging Associates can accept all referrals from a referring doctor.
