Imaging Associates Box Hill is proud to win two business awards.
We are delighted to announce that Imaging Associates Box Hill has won two awards in the 2020/2021 Whitehorse Excellence in Business Awards – the Overall Winner and the Medium Business Award.
In its 20th year, the awards celebrate the outstanding performances of local businesses with a visible endorsement of their success, launched by the Whitehorse Business Group.
For the whole team at Box Hill, the two accolades represent the culmination of the courage, commitment, drive and determination of not only excelling in practice, but also going above and beyond to serve the local community.
In particular, the judging panel awarded Box Hill for our response to the COVID-19 pandemic and our ability to maintain sustained growth.
We highlighted this in a number of ways in our submission, with examples where we made a positive impact and demonstrated innovation within our business.
This included changing our billing policy to ensure there were no financial barriers to patients accessing high quality, diagnostic imaging during COVID lockdowns.
Furthermore, we reached out to Eastern Health, the public sector network of hospitals servicing eastern Melbourne, offering medical imaging services to their expanding patient workload at a bulk billed rate. Not only did this alleviate significant pressure from the public health system during the pandemic, but it also demonstrated our agility and ability to direct help where it was needed most.
We also demonstrated our industry pioneering approach through our Artificial Intelligence in breast imaging, which is continuing to help patients in the local community in the fight against breast cancer.
