MRI services
Magnetic Resonance Imaging offers several advantages over other imaging modalities, such as X-rays and CT scans. An MRI scan enables us to view water-based tissues, and so it produces clearer, more detailed and accurate images of soft tissue, as well as other parts of the body. Importantly, MRI does not use ionizing radiation, making it safe for patients, even with repeated use. With very few exceptions (which include including patients with implants such as pacemakers or pacemakers or cochlear implants), MRI is a safe procedure for all patients.
