Glen Dean, Operations Manager Imaging Associates

Operations Manager

Specialties: Team Leadership, Operational Efficiencies, Cohesive Management and Vascular Ultrasound

Glen’s interest in radiology began early in life. At school he was fascinated by Physics and Applied Sciences and as a country kid, he also had numerous motorbike and sport-related injuries where he gained plenty of first-hand experience of undergoing diagnostic injury scans.

After completing a Bachelor of Diagnostic Radiography in 2003, Glen began working as a Diagnostic radiographer in 2004. He later completed a Post Graduate Masters in Diagnostic Ultrasound at the University of South Australia in 2008. Since then, Glen has enjoyed a diverse career, that includes involvement in a remote community tuberculosis screening initiative within Arnhem Land, Northern Territory, an experience he cites as a career highlight. He joined Imaging Associates in 2014 as Chief Radiographer of Imaging Associates Wagga Wagga, before taking up the role of Operations Manager in 2020.

In his current role, Glen is responsible for all patient facing aspects of the business, including the operations of radiographers, sonographers, administration staff, sales and marketing and IT. He also oversees new clinic project development and the expansion of the Imaging Associates group. He is a skilled manager, a quick thinker and problem solver, and he is able to delegate decisively to achieve the best outcomes. He thoroughly enjoys the many and varied daily interactions he has across and beyond the business, and having access to the state-of-the-art technology that Imaging Associates has at its disposal.
